During the winter time, boots are one of my most favorite things ever! So I figured I should share some of my favorite pairs.
The first pair, and probably the ones I wear the most, are my Enzo Angiolini 'Saylem" Riding Boots in dark grey leather. After drooling over these for months, and saving up my birthday money, I finally ordered them from Nordstrom's last year. They were an investment piece for me, costing $129.00. But they are well worth it as they have put up with A LOT of wear and tear. Also, I can easily find a way to wear them everyday. They are in dire need of a polish, which I can never seem to find the time to do. I like pairing them with high socks, or leg warmers, like in this picture.
These booties are the Sherpa Booties, from The Gap. They were originally given to my sister as a christmas present, but she didn't want them(I don't know why) so I took them. They are super comfy, and are extremely warm. The soles are water proof, which is nice for walking in the snow. They look nice, so that I can feel comfy without looking like a bum. Sometimes, I wish they were my slippers so I didn't have to take them off! They are on sale for $39.95 right now. I think it may be due to all of their store closings(or just end of winter sales).
This last pair is also from The Gap as well, unfortunately I don't know what they are called, as they were a christmas present(for me this time), and I can't find them online. I need better lighting, because in this picture they look grey, when they are a little more green. These are perfect for when I am going out to dinner, or somewhere where I want to look nice, but not extremely dressy, and I don't want my feet to be too cold. They can also be dressed down for casual wear. And for heels, they are very comfortable.
If you don't want to wait to save up your money, or you don't want to spend a lot on boots, I highly reccomend DSW. They have a wide variety of really cute styles for good prices, and I get a lot of my shoes from there :) Also, if you are investing in a pair of boots, do research. Make sure you really like the style, and that the color is practical for your wardrobe. I found it helpful to look at reviews to make sure the boots I was purchasing are durable, so that I could get my money's worth of wear. If you are not day dreaming about those boots every day, and are not completely certain you want them, don't buy them!
Thanks for reading!!
